Windy City Invaders Take The Big M by Storm

The Stats: Eric Ledford, 33, Dayton, Ohio native. Won 1999 Rising Star Award & captured 2002 Hambletonian with Chip Chip Hooray. Best known for driving Eternal Camnation, a winner of $3.7 million. Teams with father Seldon Ledford. Ledford returns to the Big M after a one year (2004) hiatus. From 2001 to 2003 he won over 300 races and $9 million in purses in New Jersey. He is also behind the mare Parklane Powerful this season at the Big M and also behind his father's Whisper's Spy and the promising four-year-olds Star Of The Beach and JJ's Ironman.
The Stats: Pat Berry, 29, Harvard, Illinois native. In 2003 scored 236 wins & $1.7 Million, in 2004 scored 338 wins and $2.6 million. Drives for Rick Dane, Jr. and best known for his partnership with the filly Artbitration. Berry has fit right in at The Meadowlands. He returns to drive in Chicago on Sundays and Mondays and also has built up his business at Freehold Raceway.
The Stats: Brent Holland, 33, Wilmington, Ohio native. Over 2,500 wins & $19 Million, won the $80,000 Jenna's Beach Boy with Johnny B Cool N. Drives for Gary Scurlock. Brent pulled off back-to-back wins during the first two weekends of the Big M's meet, and says he was looking for a change of scenery and was anxious to drive for Gary Scurlock and owner Robert Ranquist, Jr. Brent says he also wanted to gain some information from some of the world's best harness drivers.
