White Ruffles Action at The Big M Thursday

Ma Ma May I scored a neck victory and snapped Vysoke Tatry’s winning streak at four in the first of three $12,500 divisions of the White Ruffles Series Thursday night at the Meadowlands. Ma Ma May I paced the mile in 1:54.2. Kellytuck Sophie was third.

Ma Ma May I, a four-year-old daughter of Armbro Mackintosh, has won both of her White Ruffles prelims and will advance to the $48,000 White Ruffles Final on January 26. She races for the D’Elegance Stable IX of Florham Park, New Jersey; Preeti Rose Stables of Morris Plains, New Jersey and Carmen Iannacone of Lyndhurst, New Jersey. She now has seven wins, four seconds and three thirds from 17 career starts.

Also in White Ruffles action, Ideal Dex, driven by Mike Lachance, finished a neck ahead of Blitzen’s Best in 1:55 flat and Percee Angus driven by Jeff Gregory, prevailed by a length over Patronizing in 1:54.1.
