The U.S. Harness Writers Association’s annual awards banquet will take place on Sunday, February 25, at the Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City. Among the honored will be the newest members of the sport’s Hall of Fame – Jimmy Arthur, Wally Hennessey, and Phil Langley – along with Communicators Corner electees Ray Brienza, Marie Hill, Dean Hoffman, and John Manzi.

The 2006 Harness Horse of the Year will be announced that night, along with Trotter of the Year and Pacer of the Year, plus the several divisional categories.

Also being recognized will be Jeff Gural, winner of the Proximity Award and the John Hervey Media Award winners for journalism excellence.
