February 17, 2007

In what is believed to be a World Record for a 14 year-old trotter over a five-eighths mile track, OK Fella N trotted to a 1:56.2 speed mark over Dover Downs Saturday night. OK Fella N was bred in New Zealand and sired by a pacing-bred stallion, OK Bye, from a pacing-bred broodmare, Staggers by Down Under champion, Lordship. Steve Warrington drove the gelding to his third win in six starts this season with two seconds for Bill's Racing Inc. of Townsend, Del. In 2006, OK Fella N won six of 30 starts with seven seconds and four thirds. He has won $178,373 in his career.
