Race One: $40,000 Claiming Pace (8) HE’S ALL THAT continues on a form spree evidenced by life mark taken in last, up in class again for Johnson and Brennan my choose to attempt another down the road effort. (9) BEST ALWAYS Pierce picks after sharp 26.4 close from tough spot but doesn’t get any easier from here. (6) TYPHOID Czermann barn continues to be hot, draws inside sharp score from post #10, loses Pierce but gains Ledford. (5) NEW BOLTON another who is raised in class after setting a life mark last weekend, paced fast last half in :54.0 after slow half.
Race Two: $100,000-$125,00 Claiming Handicap Pace (8) JUDGE CAM another Silva invader by way of Canada, closed well in fast pace in speed favoring Woodbine oval, has early speed see… Quick and Deadly. (3) SILVER D MOON first start in the Banca barn after getting parked past the quarter to fast half then faced pressure. (7) THREE QUARTER CAM closed well of excess cover from tough spot. (1) LANDMARK HALL offered improved effort in third start for Harder, can stay close from the rail.
Race Three: OPEN (D) (3) CANYON WIND huge effort in last pacing 1:48.4, loses Sears but Campbell fits his inside post style of brushing early. (7) MALTESE ARTIST world champion returns after Dan Patch win and a month off and may be overbet. (5) BOULDER CREEK good close off trip in the Graduate and may look to leave. (2) CASIMIR CAMOTION parked the mile from post #8, Mike may elect to sit and look for room in the stretch.
Race Four: $75,000 Claiming Pace (6) CAMS PRIMETIME Silva has got him on edge and is stepped up in class after sharp score from post #10, should be the value play. (2) THE INTIMIDATOR draws inside post #9 score and hard to fault but may be overbet after just getting up after perfect trip. (1) OHOKA LAZZER N offered good late pace 4th over for the tough Oakes barn, may elect to use his early speed. (4) OLIVER CUSTIS drops after pressured speed effort, dangerous.
Race Five: MISS NJ FINAL 3YOF (D) (4) SAVANNAH SKY Breeders Crown elim winner last year failed as the heavy favorite with some needed speed work, dangerous with trip (1-Entry) IDEAL NEWS saw her win streak broken by her entrymate but should get a great trip from this spot. (7) FREEZER CASH got up on the inside last week and dangerous early speed. (8) SECRET DEAL Breeders Crown participant last year didn’t fire last week but previous was game uncovered effort, factor if Sears can get her into the race early.
Race Six: Non-winners of $15,500 (4) PICK A TRAIL finally receives some post relief after another game effort parked from post #9 and gets in via the also eligible route. (6) ACTIVATOR debuts for Daley and is a watch list horse for going a long way uncovered in another game effort. (7) HOP SING parked past the quarter, cleared then faced pressure in improved effort. (2) O NARUTAC MAGIC receives post relief after getting impeded, dangerous because he can take some air when on his game.
Race Seven: NJ CLASSIC 3YO Open FINAL (D) (3) VILLAGE JOLT may have not particularly cared for the off going and was only 2nd start, brings his "A" game to the big ones and should definitely warrant an extra look at anything near morning line odds. (1) STRONG PLAYER watch list horse for 27.2 close in fast last quarter in first start for Banca. (10) LOAD THE DICE another watch list horse for 27.0 last quarter in fast last half but has his work cut out from post #10. (9) ROCKNROLL HANOVER the obvious choice has looked good in both starts but will be overbet .
Race 8: $50,000-$60,000 Claiming Handicap (9) TOMMY’S LUCK a watch list horse for getting shuffled to 9th at the ¾’s, closed sharply in 27.2 in fast last half. (10) QUICK AND DEADLY 1st start for Remmen after dominating effort and retains Sears. (1) SAND HILL N gets post relief and may stay close from the rail. (5) DOMINATOR PLUS improved two move effort but would like much better if Patrick were aboard.
Race Nine: Non-winners of $25,000 (D) (1) ARTESIAN got some serious speed work at Freehold in 3nd start off the scratch sick, Brennan should get aggressive from the rail and brush early. (9) ARTICULATOR throw the last one out when he got away poorly in the Graduate, Pierce’s choice will have to get involved earlier. (5) LIVE OUT LOUD another who faces lesser Mike Lachance may look to leave. (4) RARE JEWEL up in class after sharp score at almost 22-1.
Race 10: $40,000 Claiming (1) ARTS REGARDS post and class relief after good close from tough spot. (2) WARLOCK APPRENTICE up in class after sharp 26.4 close in 1st start off the Burke re-claim. (6) WHERE EAGLES DARE went 3 wide off fading cover in improved effort in the class drop. (5) REGENT HALL tucked from post #9 then got buried, dangerous early speed in field devoid of a lot of it.
Race 11: Non-winers of $15,500 (1) ARMBRO BRANDO may look to brush early from the rail (8) SILVER FLASH gets the switch to Manzi and can leave. (6) GREAT TEMPO got interfered with in last in 2nd start for Daley and 1st start on lasix, should attempt to leave. (4) DRAGONDOTCOM not involved from post #10, previous game uncovered effort and gets the switch to Sears.
Race 12: $40,000 Claiming Pace (8) HENSCHKE brushed past quarter in quick clip from post #1 and tired late, back to his old closing routine. (5) ARTS TIGER Pierce’s surprising choice of 3 and has been Czermann’s go-to guy of late and was shuffled in last start here. (3) NEVADA YANKEE can stay close from this post and gets the switch to Morrill. (7) WILDCAT FEVER goes for 5 in a row and is raised in class off claim and scratch sick but Pierce bails, hmmm…
Race 13: $50,000 Claiming Pace, Four-Year-Olds (6) STUNNER Rucker raises him in class and keeps Brennan off impressive debut in his barn. (3) WESTERN MONSOON Silva returns the favor and raises in class slightly to age restricted claimers after 3rd over score. (8) WESTERN HOT SHOT Miller’s choice over the #10 returns after sharp qualifier at Pocono after stopping in race reclaimed from Daley. (10) BOO YAH goes 1st time Ledford and should be firing out.
