really never got untracked in the Isle of Capri, salvaged trip with good closing effort off slow half in Preferred Pace (2) TAYLORLANE ACE throw out last, had traffic problems in the stretch (5) TONI’S FUTURE weekend after getting used hard in 26.2 2nd quarter (4) MT VERNON HANOVER faded after offering rarely seen early speed and gets post relief

Race Two:  Four Leaf Clover – 1st Leg (D)
(4) HOP SING
season’s fastest horse raced very well against He Wants It All in the Isle of Capri (5) JENNA’S CHOICE ultra game and may actually offer some value as he gets class tested (2) SHU HANOVER returns freshened offering sharp late pace in off the pace qualifier
(7) ARMRO BELCALM should be headed to the front with the return of Ledford

Race Three:  Four Leaf Clover – 1st Leg (D)
(3) FLORIDA BOY
a watch list horse for sharp uncovered effort pacing 25.4 in fast final quarter (6) RODDY’S BAGS AGAIN key to the race, think he will be content to close in this one (2) FATE’S PLACE prepped with sharp rated front end score

Race Four:  $30,000 CL
(10) COUNTY ROGUE N
sharp uncovered effort in faster last half in 1st start for Porcelli (6) PACIFIC BLUE JEAN game uncovered effort (2) FRANCO TRUBROOKE N was shuffled and offered mild pace in fast race (9) BUSTER SEELSTER steps up after sharp close in 26.2 in detention no less

Race Five:  $60,000-$70,000 CLHC
(4) ALLSTAR BLUE JEAN
makes 1st start for Ledford off impressive race brushing past quarter, yielding then coming back gamely (2) THE INTIMIDATOR little chance 3rd over in fast last half, gets Miller (5) MAKE MY DAY steps up after impressive 1st start for Silva also 1st w/lasix (6) QUICK AND DEADLY watch list horse pressured in fast 3rd quarter losing only to pocket horse, but negative trainer change

Race Six:   nw $25,000
(7) TENANT IN CHIEF
and (9) KING SANDS N are watch list horses for 26.1 close in fast last quarter (4) ALLNIGHTCARDGAME continues to race well for Unger and always trouble if he can get the trip (1) THE PREACHER PAN makes his ’06 debut off 3 qualifiers but may bet overbet (2) HUMMER N horse and barn are sharp but feel Campbell will have him 1st over

Race Seven:  nw $12,500
(3) BEACH ROMANCE N
sharp 26.4 close in US debut (9) CAROLINA PLACE watch list horse for 25.3 close with no shot 4th over off slow half (1) PEMBROKE FLEX gets the rail and Sears off improved effort (6) DAISYS BOY might as well throw him in the mix as he drops after decent close after getting shuffled

Race Eight:  $30,000 CL
(4) WESTERN GEM
Sears’ choice of 3 steps up again after sharp close off the trip for hot Rich Johnson stable (3) ART’S REGARDS another wishing to extend win streak offering sharp 26.4 close off trip (2) WARLOCK APPRENTICE came up empty off cover trip but drops back to level of claim (6) REAL SPARKS showed signs of life in fast race

Race Nine:  nw $17,500
(8) LANDMARK HALL
3rd start back, drops off improved effort closing in 26.2 off slow half
(4) WHODUNIT Manzi’s choice of 3 returns at a reduced level after a decent showing in the Isle of Capri series (9) WILS SCOOTER A parked past half, came back in game effort (5) FENMAN offered good pace splitting horses, get Sears

Race Ten:  wo $25,000 LT
(1) LIFE IS A CABARET
continued watch list horse for sharp 26.0 close in fast last half (3) QUALITY WESTERN tough if he comes 1st over (5) ART MAKER maybe sharp enough to handle the class hike (6) ROB ROY MATTGREGOR returns from Florida after good effort in the Isle of Capri Final coming home in 54.1

Race Eleven:  nw $17,500
(2) MIRACLE MAN N
we continue to follow him, offered sharp 25.4 close in fast last quarter
(3) GLOBAL SCALE shuffled, sharp late pace closing in 26.3 (7) INCREDIBLE ART continues sharp after fading late off aggressive attempt (9) GLITTERING BEACHES expect improvement in 1st start for Banca

Race Twelve: $50,000 CL
(9) BUST OUT
watch list horse for getting parked in brush attempt in key fast 3rd quarter, drops (1) ML’S BOY steps up in sharp form offering solid pace at both ends (6) ARTS MOUSE some tough trips recently (3) CUNNING LIAR drops back as beaten favorite, not one of our favorite Silva horse, maybe oberbet again

Race Thirteen: nw 3 (4YO & Under)
(2) KHAKI’S FEATHER
faded after getting used hard (4) MARTI’S ARTI drops from the Sr Trendsetter Series were he got buried in the final but closed well when free (5) OUR BEER BUDDY Sears’ surprising choice over the #7, won with him in Jr Trensetter Leg1 (7) SOUTH PARK HANOVER 1st start off short layoff for the ‘Rifleman’
