Back To Player's Guide

Race One:  $50,000-60,000 CLHC
(6) SCOREBOARD HANOVER
goes for 4th straight off claim after sharp uncovered effort
(9) GLOBAL SCALE another going for 4 straight will have to work a little harder from post #9 and inside speed this week (3) DEFINITELY MAYBE tired after tough uncovered effort, threat if Campbell and sit and try to close (4) DISCO DEVIL no threat when off poorly last week draws better and may get pace to close and upset for Andy Miller similar to last Saturday

Race Two:  nw $12,500
(7) VORACIOUS HANOVER
closing style a hindrance but Cat may look to get him moving sooner (8) UP FROM JERRY 3rd start back from layoff and gets Sears, threat if he leaves for early position (9) CLIMB THE LADDER major threat even from post #9 with little inside gate speed (6) YANKEE FINALE should be leaving for Gingras

Race Three:  MEADOWLANDS PACE CONSOLATION (D)
(1) WESTERN GUY
look for early brush and down the road effort (4) WESTERN CYCLONE rebounds off disappointing effort (3) JEREMES JET tired off good cover, seems to have regressed from 1st start

Race Four:  nw $12,500
(4) JAZZBO BROWN
gets Campbell as Jeff Gregory is racing in NYSS, sharp last half in 53.4
(2) GLITTERING BEACHES debuts for Silva/Sears and Brian may look to brush early (8) THE REAL DION drops and returns to Brennan but may have to far to come (5) DAISYS BOY wish he raced more predictably like his famous mom, felling he leaves this week after showing sneaky late pace

Race Five:  STANLEY DANCER MEMORIAL FINAL (D)
(1) ENTRY
arguably two best horses teamed in Southwind Farm entry, tough to go against
(3) HERE COMES HERBIE NY Bred closed sharply for the new trot master in elim (2) TAKTER ENTRY

Race Six: WILLIAM R. HAUGHTON MEMORIAL – FINAL (D)
(3) LEADING X AMPLE
closed fastest of all in 25.3 and post relief, should be flying late in what could be new record final time (2) PONDER rebounded after poor showing in Canadian Pacing Derby with Campbell, will probably look to brush early (1) DR NO was our heavy play last week, should be right there throughout from the rail (8) MYPANMAR gets interesting switch to Gingras, not sure if he will fire out or decide for what should be live cover, should offer good value and can upset with trip

Race Seven: WO $25,000 LT
(4) AMERICAN FURY
Rucker horse loves the BigM, returns from the midwest, even though Pierce listed and opted for #8, like return of Sears who should be looking to leave (9) ROB ROY MATTGREGOR closed well from 3rd over in fast last quarter, look for Palone to leave for position (1) TENANT IN CHIEF offered good late pace with Silverman 3 weeks ago, returns with Ginras and should be close from the rail (7) YUKON CORNELIUS threw in big half from the rail at Balmoral, he is a better closer but even though he has been showing signs of his old magic, don’t know what to expect with Campbell

Race Eight:  MEADOWLANDS PACE – FINAL (D)
(3) ARTISTIC FELLA
we are always looking to beat the favorite but we have been high on him for a while … goes for 9 in a row, used harder than what they would have liked in his elim but showed his gameness, will look at exacta boxes with the following: (7) WESTERN ACE the forgotten horse gets the return of Sears and closed decently after slight shuffle in race no doubt he needed, expect Sears to leave (10) REAL MEAN ART would like him a lot more if drew better, horse is 23 of 26 lifetime ITM and feel Gingras will look to leave for early position (6) ARMBRO DEUCE paced fastest last half in .53 and fastest ¾’s in 1:19.3, responded to Brennan for master conditioner at prepping them for the ‘big one’

Race Nine:  $75,000-110,000 CLHC
(2) ALWAYS A THREAT
been sharp for Cassar and should be the trip horse again (8) BASIL HANOVER returns to Sears but may have a way to come on a night probably speed favoring (9) MAXIMUM VIKING Gingras takes this bunch down the road (6) ALLSTAR BLUE JEAN ducked inside and closed with good pace in 27.1 in 1st start for Czermann

Race Ten: OPEN
(1) MALTESE ARTIST
should have made the Haughton but never was clear while having pace (8) LIS MARA the now horse will be gunning and makes his 1st BigM start, may loose to pocket sitter or very late closer since he has been off for 3 weeks (4) LANDMARK HALL is sharp and could trip out again at a decent price (3) ALL OVER THE PLACE another who has been away for 3 weeks closed sharply in 26.1 in last start with Hanners

Race Eleven:   nw 4
(7) SOUTH PARK HANVOER
track record holder at Tioga Downs while putting up couple of big back halves gets Pierce (5) EDISON HANOVER versatile horse sharp last 3 (8) REAL HANOVER gets along well with Miller but will have to leave for position for a chance
(1) RUNOVER AGAIN has turned it around last two at Pocono

Race Twelve:  nw $25,000
(10) RARE JEWEL
returns to the BigM off all age track record at Saratoga, look for big down the road mile for Brennan (1) FENMAN drops from Open with fast last half of 53.4, major threat if Pierce can protect the rail (4) MIRACLE MAN N offered good pace form tough spot with Miller who seems to get along with him well (5) RJS WILD CARD should be leaving for Gingras

Race Thirteen:  nw $12,500
(2) AINT GONNA HAPPEN
no shot in 1st start for Buzzy Sholty, expect Dube to be more aggressive in this spot (8) SANTASTICS PAN bettors will be all over him like stink on a monkey on class drop and 1st time Burke/Sears (5) ABSOLUT HALL makes his 2nd start off layoff for trotting connections after good late foot between horses (7) MOONLITEBILL ANDBOB cant believe how bad he has looked but drop and 26.2 close in last offer some hope
