Race One: nw 12,500 (D) (8) BLISSED OUT goes under the auction hammer Monday so expect big speed effort on the dropdown (6) ALL MY LIFE closed with decent pace in fast race (2) ARMBRO BEN closed well after being impeded on the ship in (3) SLEEP EASY got roughed up at Freehold in last, decent spot since he seems to be racing over his head
Race Two: $30,000 CL (2) CAPS CLASSIC comes off scratch since but drops off parked out effort from post #9, should be in line for good trip (6) JM ROCKETMAN 10 time winner last year has been sharp at the Meadows (1) PORCINI HANOVER faded after brush past quarter to fast half, expect big effort from the rail after reclaim by Kesmodel (9) WARLOCK APPRENTICE expect improved effort in 2nd start back Race
Three: $25,000-35,000 CLHC (2) HOPEFUL IDEA impressive race 1st time Brennan and another who goes in the sale on Monday (8) UPHELD one of the few Rick Annunziata horses that didn’t win in December, was flat off the trip last time but expect improved effort on the trainer change and lack of early speed in here (6) VEGAS KING gets Pierce back and major closing threat if he minds his manners (1) BLIND PANS BLUFF is 8 for 8 ITM lifetime and goes in for a tag, strict closer should get off decently from the rail
Race Four: $40,000 CL (4) ARTS TICKET Gingras’ choice of 3 goes for 5 in a row, steps up very sharp off Ford claim (7) BUST OUT nice rated speed effort by Mike Lachance last week, claimed by Ledford (3) ON THE DOUBLE drops off poor effort with Dube, returns to Sears (6) OHOKA LAZER N more realistic level and gets Andy Miller after facing some fast miles
Race Five: $75,000-125,000 CLHC (D) (9) CAMS PRIMETIME drops after good effort with the winners over group and should offer decent value (8) TIBERON we liked him last week as he was a definite value play on the drop, should get bet tonight (5) ART MAKER gets some post relief after coming home in 54.2 (6) PICK A TRAIL disappointing effort 2nd start lasix but expect improvement 1st start for Silva and D-barn race
Race Six: PRESIDENTIAL – FFA 1st Leg (D) (6) RARE JEWEL beaten favorite last two gets the unexpected services of Sears as it appears that Banca has burned yet another bridge (10) FOXY MANEUVER was our big play last week on the late driver change to Sears and should get away decently and get a decent closing trip (7) SHU HANOVER we don’t expect him to get away with a rated mile in here (1-Entry) HOP SING was parked past the half from post #10 and didn’t fade that badly, is in sneaky shape and can surprise
Race Seven: $50,000-60,000 CLHC (9) O ROURKE THREE another tough loss, shuffled after getting the top and closed with a rush, 1st start for Johnson/Victor (10) THE INTIMIDATOR leave attempt from post #9 and suffered the same fate as #9 goes for Remmen and retains Cat (5) LITTLE AMOS parked past the half in sharp effort and may be the value play again this week (7) UPITAGAIN N was very sharp at Balmoral when shipped east, small post relief after menacing move in 1st start in 3 weeks, expect improvement
Race Eight: nw 25,000 (D) (2) DOMINATOR PLUS watch list horse for holding on gamely after brush past half in fast 3rd quarter (8) ARMBRO ACQUIRE closed with mild pace in the winners over, major factor if Ledford can get him into the race sooner (5) O NARUTAC PAT sat in on the class hike, previous sharp uncovered effort (1) PACIFIC RENEGADE makes his 3rd start back and offered sharp 27.1 close and should be in for a great trip
Race Nine: $30,000 CL (3) JACCKA SEELSTER N sharp uncovered win and stays in same class and may offer value again (2) SIX OF DIAMONDS obvious choice got out late and will be right there again with his early speed (1) CAPITOL SOURCE gets some post relief but may have to go the uncovered route from here (4) TALK FOREVER takes needed drop after not really having a chance to close off slow half in last
Race Ten: nw 3 (4YO & Under) (8) JOHN DREW comes off a scratch sick but his last start was sharp uncovered effort 1st start lasix (2) BUBBA C got a tour 1st start off layoff from post #9, expect improved effort (5) SOUTHWIND ALDEN some sharp efforts at Northfield and races competitively against some decent stock at Lexington in the fall (1) ACES OVER has been sharp at Freehold but don’t know how he will take to the mile track
Race Eleven: $25,000 CL (5) CANNAE HAMMER Millers choice over the #10 put in big uncovered try from post #10 in 1st start for Bilach, could be setting nice trip here and gave Rick Annunzita another owners win (6) FLASHING LIGHTS game speed effort (10) MASTEROFHISDOMAIN tough trip in last and wont be any easier from this spot (2) REAL SPARKS goes for the Rollins barn her and returns to Sears
Race Twelve: $40,000 CL (7) JOHNNY PAYCHECQUE Sears’ choice of 3 drops after tiring getting used hard in 26.4 2nd quarter (5) GVS CAM TOWNER closed sharply in 27.2 in start off layoff (6) STOCKHOLDER we will keep him in the mix, gets Campbell after going 3rd over off slow ¾’s closing well in 27.2 (2) DEFINITELY MAYBE makes 1st start for Bartlett and will try to harness the roan’s speed
Race Thirteen: nw 7,500 (2) QUICKSILVER SHARK the grey is not the slickest gaited horse but held well after 2 move effort in fast race (8) BOO YAH drops after offering mild pace in 1st start back (10) UP FRONT OHIO went 3 wide in fast race and Pierce’s surprising choice over the morning line favorite (3) VANTASTIC WIZZARD should be a factor at this reduced level
