Race One: nw 12,500 (2) O NARUTAC MAGIC drops from when last here and gets Miller in questionable field (3) WILS SCOOTER A Pierce’s surprising choice over a Johnson trained horse #10, the Aussie bred son of one of our old favorites, Mattgilla Gorilla, offered decent late pace in his qualifier (6) PREMBROKE FLEX we last saw him at the BigM in the Complex series, returns after facing some decent horses at The Meadows (7) DR ZIP only knock here is that he hasn’t raced since his Clyde Hirt Consolation win
Race Two: Junior Trendsetter – Final 3YO C&G (D) or the Fox Valley Final … (6) FOX VALLEY BIGSHOT Pierce’s choice of 3 off a couple of game uncovered efforts, only flaw on his record is a break in last start at Balmoral (5) FOX VALLEY APPEAL is 3 for 3 with Sears and looks to sweep the series and the one to fear (4) MENNO BOY was outgamed by Fox Valley Appeal in good effort in round one, big win against lesser division last week (1) RUCKER ENTRY solid entry but will have to step up to beat the top pair
Race Three: Exit 16W – Final 4YO & Under (D) (3) RUCKER ENTRY – DELIVER THE GOODS can do it on or off the pace but from post #3 look for Sears to be on the move early (1) FORD ENTRY formidable entry could do some damage to the choice and may have to in order to beat him (4) MATTSCAPE SEELSTER had some decent late pace off some traffic issues, starts from the rail and can stay close
Race Four: nw 17,500 (2) INCREDIBLE ART sharp 26.2 close in fast last quarter (7) SLEEP EASY exits a decent effort in the Aquarius series, prior was sharp effort on the barn change to Ledford (5) RJ’S WILD CARD faded after tough trip into the winds last week (10) CUNNING LIAR is on the improve and benefit from Sears and his new developed niche for closing from back of the back
Race Five: nw 25,000 (1) FATES PLACE good pace from the inside from pp#9 and should take advantage from first post break in a while (5) SILVER FLASH showed good late pace in last and may be ready for a big mile (3) SEEKING THE GOLD N hung late but improved effort with improved post, expect same (8) LIVE OUT LOUD flattened after 3 wide move but cant discount resurgent Lachance barn
Race Six: Aquarius – Final Open 4YO (D) (1) JENNAS CHOICE love a horse who makes his own trip, hard to go against but will offer little value (2) ALL OVER THE PLACE content to sit last week in faster last half, poor Ford D-barn win record though (3) ESCAPABLE BEAUX game uncovered effort against Jennas Choice (8) RODDY’S BAGS AGAIN watch list horse for fast 3rd quarter into the wind
Race Seven: nw 12,500 (4) MYSTICAL TENOR exits 16 W series and makes first detention-less start at the BigM in another lackluster group of nw’s (1) REAL HANOVER sharp 26.3 pace off a blindswitch and should take advantage of post relief (7) QUARTER CARAT drops, makes his 3rd start back off layoff and should flash hi noted early speed (2) FOX VALLEY RUMBLE closed with even pace in first positive start here
Race Eight: wo 25,000 (5) CASIMIR CAMOTION brush past quarter to fast half and dueled with Quality Western in fast mile (1) QUALITY WESTERN what can you say about his parked out 1:49.4 performance last week in the cold and wind, may sit from this spot or brush early, but not the same horse unless he is roughing it (9) MYPANMAR closed well from tough spot and faces same dilemma (6) SPIRIT OF A SHARK gets Sears’ vote of confidence and may be sitting an ideal trip
Race Nine: nw 17,500 (9) SEEYOUINMYDREAMS parked the mile in big effort from post #10 (5) SEELSTER SCORE N closed well 3 wide off slow half in impressive US debut (6) FENMAN beaten fave was buried with no shot (2) APACHE HOTSPUT offered sharp pace on both ends of his last mile from post #10
Race Ten: $100,000-125,000 CLHC (8) ART MAKER sharp 26.0 close 3rd over against the winners over group (6) ARMBRO ACQUIRE closed well against Art Maker off slow half but that was 3 weeks ago (3) PRINCE VINCE steps up for Johnson after big front end effort from post #10 on the off track, but it too was 3 weeks ago (5) SEMPRE PRONTO gets Sears after trainer switch from Ledford to Vince Fusco
Race Eleven: $40,000 CL (6) MOONLITEBILLANDBOB beaten fave closed well from post #10, steps up off Ledford claim (8) PERFECT PANDEROSA parked a long way in game effort against the tough Cori’s Gold (2) WINFALL NASTY closed well of cover trip, gets Sears (5) CANUSEEME BOW got shuffled and offered mild pace, expect Lachance to leave in 3rd start off claim
Race Twelve: $50,000 CL (6) CORI’S GOLD claimed by Saunders and steps up, remains a sharp watch list horse for being parked past the half from post #9 in fast half (1) WESTERN MONSOON immediate improvement expected (2) STOCK MARKET WIZ couldn’t keep up with Bust Out but that one leaves the Ledford barn (9) DAISYS BOY sharp 26.3 close in fast last quarter
Race Thirteen: nw 7500 (2) OHOKA LAZER N isn’t one of my favorite horses but plunges in class after getting stuck inside (3) BRAEDEN’S DRIVE expect improvement with post relief in 2nd start for team Ledford (10) MATA HARRY threat if Gingras can leave with out getting used too hard (1) IMAGE OF DAWN was charging and broke in improved effort in 3rd start back
