Race One: $50,000 CL 4YO 4) KHAKI’S FEATHER Brennan’s surprising choice of 3 went uncovered against decent group of nw3 (5) HOPEFUL IDEAL Brennan bails but gets Pierce, good close from tough spot (6) ARTS MOUSE impressive, as most Ledford horses, in last (2) MAKE MY DAY got a nice cover trip, may have to rough it from this spot
Race Two: AQUARIUS (D) (7) GRYFFINDOR qualified sharply (3) I ZEE ships in from Canada after getting cooked in the Willowdale Final, gets Brennan after Pierce stays with the #5 (1) ROYAL FLUSH SHARK expect improved effort in 2nd start
Race Three: AQUARIUS (D) (2) THEREDANDPANLINES tuned up against older stock with pocket trip and Ledford stays (1) ISLE OF PATMOS Ledford chooses #2 and Brennan/Banca reunite again, was parked past the half from post #8 in sharp score (7) ESCAPABLE BEAUX invades from Canada, great trip in the Willowdale Final
Race Four: $30,000 CL (6) CAPITOL SOURCE should dominate at this level (7) ARTS TICKET off poorly in last (1) WARLOCK APPRENTICE expect improved effort from the rail and tough claiming barn (4) ARTS STENA BLUE closed well from tough spot, 2nd start w/lasix
Race Five: nw 12,500 (10) MEMORY BOOK 3rd start back and drops (8) MATA HARRY trouble on his best effort (4) UP FRONT OHIO Pierce’s choice of 3 was off poorly on the sloppy track, another shot (6) SEELSTER SCORE N these NZ imports usually race well first couple but this guy can't be ready
Race Six: nw 25,000 (9) ALLAMERICAN CANE closed well off dull cover (8) FATES PLACE was our play in the Complex Final and looked like a winner until he locked wheels (4) SILVER FLASH improved effort (3) JOHNNY BE COOL N should see improvement in 2nd start
Race Seven: $50,000-60,000 CLHC (10) QUICK AND DEADLY one of our top plays last week got a nice pocket trip (1) ALL HALL sharp 1st over effort, may be perfectly placed from the rail (8) BUST OUT reclaimed by Ledford and sure to get overbet (9) CUNNING LIAR improved effort but in a tough spot
Race Eight: $40,000 CL (D) (7) PERFECT PANDEROSA is sharp and Kleinhans keeps Campbell (2) STOCK MARKET WIZ invades from Freehold scoring in 1st start for new connections, but goes in detention barn for Burke (6) DEFINITELY MAYBE improved for Ledford (4) EXTENDER N Millers’ choice of 3 got used hard
Race Nine: nw 17,500 (7) TROT WEST CRUSADER big effort from post #1 and 1st time Ledford (1) CAROLINA PLACE tucked from post #9, came uncovered (5) THREE QUARTER CAM Campbell’s choice of 4, has regressed and hasn’t raced in 3 weeks but should be a factor on the drop (8) SAND SAX not a factor in the Complex Final but should see improved effort sans D-barn
Race Ten: wo 25,000 LT (1) MYPANMAR should be tough with speed and the rail after tough uncovered effort in the Presidential Final (6) QUALITY WESTERN even effort in the Pres Final (2) PACIFIC RENEGADE stays close, kicks in late
Race Eleven: $30,000 CL (3) ARMBRO AIRBORNE goes 1st time Kesledford after Pat Lachance got him parked (4) WHERE EAGLES DARE maybe turning the corner, 1st over in fast 3rd quarter (9) ARTS REGARDS Miller’s choice over the #1 drops after poor effort (1) BACK OFF positive – gets the rail, negative – gets Lachance
Race Twelve: $40,000 CL (7) SPORTS FANTASY sharp uncovered score for sharp Coyne barn (2) DAVE AINT HERE big close in 27.3 was Gingras’ choice over the #8 (6) TOO MUCH GUN steps up after big closing effort (10) ON THE DOUBLE big effort from post #10 but does in D-barn
Race Thirteen: nw 12,500 (1) SLEEP EASY Team Ledford takes over (2) WESTERN PRINCE never got involved from post #10, should be firing right out tonight (6) BLISSED OUT steps up after much improved effort 1st start lasix (8) DOMINATION offered decent pace on the class drop
