Back To Player's Guide

Race One:  nw3 (4YO & Under)
(6) SECRET WEAPON
no chance in round 1 of the Oil Burner, probably decided against running in leg 2 after another bad draw, beat morning line fave on 10/6 at the Red Mile
(7) CUT LOOSE HANOVER Ledford’s choice of 2 raced very game getting hard used from post #7, but may be in for another tough trip (1) GETTING REAL hasn’t flashed any of his 2 YO form yet, not involved in both efforts in the Oil Burner drawing bad posts
(2) REALISCAPE hasn’t been the same horse since his big effort in the Adios

Race Two:  $50,000 CL 4YO & Under
(6) O ROURKE THREE
watch list horse for fast close in fast last half, tries the conditioned claimers and Campbell’s choice of 3, which should help the price  (7) CRAZY FOR EVER Campbell bails after just getting up after great trip but gets Sears (4) FIRSTLINE VALIANT Brennan’s choice of 2 gave a big effort from post #10 losing cover (1) VILLAGE HERO N has come back racing well at Pocono, is 0-10 here this year big switch to Miller

Race Three:  $75,000 CL
4) UP FRONT OHIO
paced big 53.3 middle half just trying to keep up, basically in to fill the Invitational last week (6) WESTERN HOT SHOT has done well here previously and look for Brennan to leave (2) ONLY CHOICE failed as the favorite going uncovered but similar journey may be in store

Race Four:  Charles Singer Memorial FINAL 3YO Trot (D)
(4) HILLCREST VICTORY
looks to sweep for sharp Eash barn after winning both legs with some left in the tank (1) ENTRY-MALVICTORIAN Sears’ choice qualified well in round 1, last week her fate was sealed with post #12 but trotted 57.2 middle half to keep sharp  (3) NORVELOUS big two move effort and Pierce (9) ANGEL PIE beat Norvelous off cover trip last week and threat if Gregory can get her into the race early

Race Five:  wo 25,000 LT
(2) FOXY MANEUVER
gave very good effort in the Invitational and should be perfectly placed (1) LIVE OUT LOUD got parked by Tetrick at Maywood but has done his best racing here (6) SHU HANOVER has looked sharp in his qualifiers and usually races well off short layoff but will be overbet considering he hasn’t raced since July

Race Six: The Oil Burner Series FINAL 3YO C&G (D)
(1) CAMS CONQUEROR
should brush early from the rail (1) ENTRY-DELIVER THE GOODS huge parked out effort from post #9 (5) BROKAW game little horse gave super uncovered effort and may offer good value for hot Johnson barn (8) STILL CHUGGING Miller’s surprising choice of 3, sharp win in round one

Race Seven:  nw $20,000
(1) HOP SING
2nd start off layoff dropping from the Invite after offering even pace
(9) BLISSED OUT a watch list horse for setting fast half (7) FATES PLACE Miller bails but has closed well in both starts here for sharp Taub barn and gets 1st time Ledford (3) ART MAKER decent 1st start in the Invite, should be tighter off that effort

Race Eight:  nw $12,500
(10) ARMBRO AIRBORNE
been racing well at the Meadows in comparatively faster times than these, Pierce should have him firing out (3) RJS WILD CARD has returned sharp off the short layoff and addition of lasix (7) MUHAMMAD ALI N big effort against Brokaw in 11/12 but that was 3 weeks ago, Wing doesn’t ship here though if he wasn’t ready (6) TWOFOUR EIGHT no shot in 1st start back drawing post #9 off slow half, can improve in 2nd start with Dube

Race Nine:  $40,000 CL
(3) PARADISE LOVER BOY
lots to like here, got speed tightener in 1st start back, claimed by Banca and returns to the hands of Ledford who chose him over his fathers horse (8) LUCKY JOE we will give him another look after tiring against better in 1st start back  (4) THREETIMER 10 time winner last year is raised in claiming price after sharp closing effort 1st start off short layoff and gets Sears (5) EXTENDER N got a nice cover trip and couldn’t finish the job, may be overbet here

Race Ten
(1) DAISYS BOY
the last foal of the great Shady Daisy has always held a soft spot in our hearts, looked like his old self in sharp sweep on the ship back and now raised in class 1st time for Kesmodel off the claim (6) REDSTONE RUCKUS offered sharp closing pace in fist start off the layoff (8) WESLEY SNIP 16 time winner so far this year drops from the Invitational at Freehold but shows sharp prior mile form and looks to be a ripe candidate for a claim

sharp closing effort in 1st off short layoff (6) THE GLOBE offered decent late pace in fast last half in first start off layoff
