Race One: nw $7500 (10) ORAGAMI ARTIST steps up after impressive win flashing sharp pace on both ends in 1st start back (3) MIRACLE MAN N has not shown much but should step up on the sizeable class drop (5) PLEASING ARTIST steps up slightly after setting fast half in ez win aided by incident in first turn (7) JAS OUTLAW one decent even effort sandwiched between poor efforts from bad posts
Race Two: $30,000-33,00 CLHC Trot (6) CLOSE ENCOUNTER Sears’ choice of 3 makes his 3rd start back off sharp uncovered effort (3) DON CARLOS HANOVER back in claimers for Banca after decent pocket effort against the tough Miss Fairfax (10) INCREDIBLE COLE back to Ford after impressive effort for Harder trotting 56.4 last half (1) JIMS MESSAGE racing very well at Rosecroft, should be close throughout with his early speed
Race Three: nw 4 (4YO & Under) (6) IDEAL LOVER sharp wide trip win closing in 27.0 (5) GOLDEN MATTJESTY makes 1st start for Pelling after sharp uncovered effort (1) JAZZBO BROWN big effort off fast fractions but loses Campbell (7) DRIVING MACHINE closed well for 3rd from way back, threat with Sears and if he minds his manners
Race Four: $30,000 CL (6) SIX OF DIAMONDS used hard from post #9 in game mile, back to Sears (3) ARMBRO AIRBORNE Pierce’ choice of 3 was not involved in last at the Meadows but should be on the move early (2) EASY BIG FELLA drops after not involved effort from post #10 (1) STOCKHOLDER goes for Ryder in 2nd start back after closing sharply in 27.4
Race Five: nw $7500 (F&M 8500) Trot (5) ANGEL PIE filly put in a big effort from post #9 losing cover, should be ideally placed (2) YANKEE MJ beaten fave got roughed up with Gingras, back to Sears (6) GREEN LANTERN Campbell’s choice closed well when free, Campbell may choose to leave (9) SPROCKET HANOVER decent effort back at the BigM, Ledford should fire her out for early position
Race Six: wo $25,000 LT Trot (4) JUSTICE HALL watch list horse for 27.4 fast last quarter off perfect trip (5) DINK ADOO comes off sharp uncovered win at Freehold after closing well in 28.1 in fast last quarter in needed start here (2) HZ EASY good uncovered try but may have to rough it again (8) WOODY WOODROW folded again in the lane on the engine, Sears will look for the trip
Race Seven: nw $25,000 (6) ARMBRO ACQUIRE no chance at Freeehold, gets away from the big boys at the BigM after closing sharply in first start for Ledford (1) Y KNOT gets Campbell while in sharp form for Karen Williams (8) DOMINATOR PLUS has looked sharp in both starts back, likely on the move early (7) PRINCE VINCE closed well off bad cover, always the major closing threat
Race Eight: $75,000-$100,00 CLHC (3) PARADISE LOVER BOY we will stick with him as he continues back up the class ladder (2) THE INTIMIDATOR beaten fave was beaten by a couple of tough horses (4) PICK A TRAIL Campbell’s choice of 3 gets lasix after no pop in the stretch (9) OUR GALVINATOR A speed horse is tough when allowed to rate the middle half
Race Nine: nw $12,500 (1) SMOKY BONZ shuffled, sharp 27.3 last quarter first start with lasix (4) MT VERNON HANOVER closed well from post #10 pacing 54.1 middle half (7) WEISS HANOVER Ledford’s choice over the #4 drops after being locked in (6) THE GLOBE isn’t one of our favorites but should be a factor with these
Race Ten: wo $25,000 LT (3) TIBERON big parked out effort from post #8, gets Sears and can upset with a trip (6) RARE JEWEL got parked past the smokin’ half then faced immediate pressure (2) ROB ROY MATTGREGOR is in good shape but benefited from the early pace (8) DAVIDS RAINBOW a terror at Freehold will be the late closing threat
Race 11) 40,000 CL (6) DEFINITELY MAYBE watch list horse for fast half (1) KAVA KEY key slight drop in class and Sears’ choice of 4, but post #1 may hurt his chances (3) WHERE EAGLES DARE Pelling reclaims and bumps him up after decent close in fast race (10) CAPS CLASSIC last start here was impressive but Cat will have to get him into the race early
Race 12) 50,000 CL (4 YO & Under) (2) O’ROURKE THREE we have been on his bandwagon with the resurgent Campbell, no need to bail now (3) ON THE DOUBLE gets some post relief after a couple of good closing efforts (4) UNIQUE FIGHTER offered good pace on both ends and is the threat on the pocket threat (10) ALL HALL big uncovered effort but post doesn’t help in here
Race 13) nw 12500 FM (9) SLEAZEBISCUIT has been on a tear since shipping east for Rucker (2) JANELLE MINDALE had no chance trying to closing off that 57.0 half in 3rd start back (4) TOWNLINE LILY sharp off trip in 1st start off short layoff (8) SWEET LADY LEE versatile mare went uncovered and tired, should be out early looking for a tuck
Race 14) nw12500 (3) SAND SAX Sears’ choice of 4 drops and gets post relief after break tucking from post #10 (9) O NARUTAC PAT has regressed from 1st start but drops from the big guns (10) DELIVER THE GOODS has been sharp since shipping here and now adds lasix after closing well from the inside, post helps odds (8) CAMS CONQUEROR another 3 YO who adds lasix but hasn’t raced since the 3rd
