Race One: 40,000 CL (D) (8) NORTHERN SUN drops back to level of the Remmen claim after failing to fire off cover, look for his early speed this week. (5) GINNY’S FIVE SIX that was some game parked out win in first start for Jim Campbell but knock is he hasn’t put consistent races back to back in a while. (1) STONE SOUL MICHAEL remains winless but was parked past the quarter in fast half and faded, goes first time for Burke this week and gets services of Sears and might work out a good trip. (6) CAMS PRIMETIME improved effort racing patiently on the drop but loses regular pilot Campbell and will be suspect chalk.
Race Two: 50,000-60,000 CLHC (5) DITCHEMS BROTHER was one of our big plays last week and look for him to fire out again in search of pocket trip. (4) BERLEY the grey returns from foray to Freehold and gets the services of Gingras, has raced gamely in all starts here. (3) GLOBAL SCALE was freshened up by Silva off the re-claim and raced well in his qualifier against some tough horses but feel he will be overplayed in this spot. (9) YULESTAR N like the switch to Morrill but may have to come a long way.
Race Three: 50,000 CL (4YO) (4) DELMONICO HANOVER on the improve with last being sharp closing effort and now 3rd start back off layoff. (6) WESTERN HOT SHOT another Oakes re-claim comes off big speed effort and look for him to fire out again. (8) DESEEKER returns to the level of his game win after being all out to keep up in fast pace in last. (3) UP FRONT RUSTLER usually puts in a game effort but not many wins to show for it, chance if he can fire out and sit a trip, if not looks like he may have to come first over again.
Race Four: 40,000 CL (D) (2) ALL FOR EWE Millers choice of three and gets post relief after closing steadily from tough spot in another fast race. (3) UNIQUE FIGHTER got jammed inside and faded but look to rebound on second start on the class drop and switch to Sears. (8) BUBBA MCGEE gets Dube and look for him to be more aggressive after getting an acclimating trip last week. (6) SILVER RUSH goes first time in the Ron Coyne Jr. barn after the brush and crush of weaker and expect Brennan to have him out early again.
Race Five: nw 10,000 (2) LCB drops again and as always a threat with his early speed. (8) THE GLOBE as noted by many that he usually wins on the class drop such as this but hasn’t looked particularly good since return from Pompano and would not take short odds. (5) KEYSTONE RODEO another class dropper who flashed some decent late pace once free. (3) ART ATTACK one of the few horses from Artsplace’s 1st crop to still be racing I do believe, good speed effort at Freehold in 2nd start of layoff and always a threat when shipped here by Ted Wing.
Race Six: nw 15,000 (9) ARMBRO ANIMATE tough uncovered trip from post #1 in first start for Banca, gets class relief and expect Brennan to float him out. (1) JENNAS GOSSIP has been the king of trips and some great driving by Ledford, gets out of the nw3 conditioned types but just may luck out again. (4) TOO MUCH GUN drops after uncharacteristic break, should be set up for a live cover trip. (3) JILLIBY SPIRIT A bumps up in condition after flashing good speed on both ends of the mile.
Race Seven: OPEN (3) LIVE OUT LOUD sneaky 26.3 late pace and finally draws well since scratch sick return, upset shot. (2) ARTICULATOR got off poorly from post #1 but closed well himself in 26.4 in 1st start back and definitely should improve off that. (4) PRINCE VINCE a watch list horse for pacing fast middle half in brush attempt but feel he will revert back to his closing tactics. (8) CANYON WIND held on after trying to bottom the field in that ultra fast 3rd quarter, sharp but usually does his best work from inside posts.
Race Eight: 75,000-100,000 CLHC (9) PREMIERONBROADWAY gets switch to Miller after fast close in first start off the claim, dangerous will early speed. (8) ART MAKER launched a big move but will have to come a long way. (2) OHUBETTERBELIEVEIT faces older company again after closing well in fast mile. (1) PATCH ADAMS N weakened as the favorite but got the speed work in, should be brushing early for the top but will probably be overbet.
Race Nine: nw 20,000 (5) THREE QUARTER CAM horse keeps winning but continues to move down in condition class by way of also eligible conditions. (8) GLORS BOYS loses Sears but is very sharp, put on the brakes in the third quarter but sprinted home well, fires out for Brennan. (1) O NARUTAC PAT put in a huge lifetime best effort and will be dangerous again with inside post. (4) ROB ROY MATTGREGOR showed some life with some late pace and may be ready to take the next step.
Race Ten: 75,000-100,000 CLHC (7) SIX OF DIAMONDS has been very sharp since the move to the Ledford barn and can take this at a price. (10) CARONA GRANDE put in a good effort first time on the track and look for Dube to utilize his early speed tonight. (4) LANDMARK HALL makes first start for Daley after some road trouble.
Race 11: nw 10,000 **Don’t like this race so make sure you look for betting value!!!** (2) WINCHESTERS BEST used hard in game effort. (1) DAISYS BOY one of our favorites has been very inconsistent, tough if Pierce can get him out early. (5) LIGHT AND SOUND N closed well both US starts and gets small post break but will be overbet.
Race 12: 40,000 CL (D) (5) AFTER LIFE tough at this level and look for him to repeat. (1) ARTS TIGER Pierce stays and is on the improve and should be in good position from the rail. (3) CHEYENNE AMERICA raced well in first BigM start, look for imrpovement.
Race 13: nw 3 (5YO & Under) (6) BIG SHAM used hard from post #9, look for Miller to have him on the top early. (3) TENNANT IN CHIEF had some traffic issues and another who will be forwardly placed early. (7) IN HIGH GEAR another that went lifetime best with a big effort, tough if he can repeat that.
