Back To Player's Guide
Race One: $50,000 Claimers Four-Year-Olds
(7) ASAMATTEROFFACT
has raced well at the BigM and last race here on 11/27 tired after big brush with 26.2 3rd quarter, should get a decent pace (9) LAUGHING IS AN ART the hot Oakes barn has a nice speed horse here but couldn’t catch the tough Back Off off the pocket trip, definitely the one to beat but may have some trouble getting to the top from this post (1) OLIVER CUSTIS seems better on the big track and should be close throughout with his early speed

Race Two: Non-winners of Four Races Lifetime, Four-Year-Olds & Under
(5) ARMBRO BECALM
last three have been tough and surprisingly raced hard from post #9 last week with big 26.3 2nd quarter, Miller stays over #6 but will need an easy race one of these days (4) FATES PLACE scratch sick off a big effort in the Oil Burner consolation, good angle play (6) SHU HANOVER closed sharply in 26.3 in his first start with lasix

Race Three: $50,000-$60,000 Claiming Handicap Pace
(9) MACIE THE FARMER
simply loves this track, closed well in fast 54.4 back half with too much ground to make up from post #10, maybe same scenario (4) CAM ST PARTNERS been very sharp since the ship in and this week first time Daley/Pierce (6) MICHAEL Q goes back to Harder who won first time with him in January off the claim

Race Four: Non-winners of $10,000 Lifetime
Don’t like this race at all so demand some value if you venture to bet …(8) ARMBRO AIRBORNE expect to see more in 2nd start off layoff and the return to Sears (6) SIX OF DIAMONDS is a watch list horse and draws post #6 after being parked from post #10 in fast half, maybe off the pace this week (5) MARINOS BOY uncorked a nice 26.4 close in first start, be wary of too short a price though

Race Five: $75,000-$125,000 Claiming Handicap Pace
(3) TWIN B GAMBIT
the ‘super closer’ is bumped up in class for good first time trainer (7) ST GEORGE ISLAND hard to close in fast last quarter but good even effort in the Open after the Russo claim, should be headed right to the front (5) GENE CARTER another tough trip, should get a good flow from this spot or can utilize his early speed

Race Six: Non-winners of $25,000 Lifetime
(3) THE GLOBE
gets the needed drop after being raced into shape and a non factor in the Open (2) PATCH ADAMS N Pierce’s choice over the #10, beaten favorite in pressured mile will probably be on the move early again (5) CANYON WIND expect to see more in 2nd start and return to Sears (10) BACK OFF been very sharp off the layoff but will have a tough go from this spot.

Race Seven: Non-winners of $10,000 Lifetime
(6) NIGHT MYSTERY beaten favorite took an aggressive try from tough post #1, may revert to off the pace tactics (2) NVINCBL ARTIST is 0 for at the BigM but can get a piece with his early speed (9) WISE PROFET shuffled out of contention but can be a factor if Pierce leaves

Race Eight: Non-winners of $15,000 Lifetime
(7) ALLSTAR BLUE JEAN
can usually string a couple together, provided he leaves of course (1) GALLO BLUE CHIP tough journey forced to go 3 wide, Dube may get over aggressive from the rail though (6) ART ATTACK makes a late (or early) appearance at the BigM off some speed work at Yonkers, loses earnings and draws into a good spot (8) YULESTAR N Pierce stays over the #4, was off poorly and not involved in last start here but improved with good first over effort at Freehold

Race Nine: $30,000 Claimers
(10) IMTHATKINDACAM
goes first time for Harder after pressured mile from post #1 (2) DIE LUTE second start for Elliot after game front end effort, and as the great handicapper the late Bob Perosino would say a ‘WOW’ angle hose (up in class without a win) (6) DOMINATION on the improve off of needed rest and addition of lasix, closed well in 27.3 in fast pace

Race Ten: $40,000 Claimers
(4) ARTS ADVANTAGE
Miller’s choice over the #3 and #9, Harder re-claim’s and expect improvement (10) FRANCO TRUBROOKE N good in-the-money horse at the Meadowlands, expect Morrill to leave for position (3) ARTS CAM showed speed on both ends of the mile in improved effort for the sharp Oakes barn and gets Sears

Race Eleven: Non-winners of Three Races Lifetime, Three-Year-Olds
(6) TONI’S FUTURE what’s not to like, post relief, sharp close from tough spot, 4 for 6 ITM at the BigM, sharp Taub barn and name isn’t bad either (7) LUCKY LIFE exploded off perfect pocket trip, got the jump on the #6 and may again (5) FIRM ONE did not show much in qualifier in the slop but was racing well when he took his short vacation, debuts in softer spot off the Anthony claim and angle has worked before, also beat the choice in Canada in September, if your looking to get even…take a shot

Race Twelve: Non-winners of Three Races Lifetime, Three-Year-Olds
(6) FIRM AND BURN
tries the conditioned route after benefiting by good early pace, but still impressive in well meant effort for hot Adam barn (10) ANTON debuts at the Meadowlands off sharp qualifier and facing some tough Grand Circuit stock this past fall (1) BOOGA the chestnut flashed some decent late foot after getting away poorly in first start off layoff

We will be back for the 2005 meet starting Saturday, January 8th...
HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!!
