Tetrick Scores Victory #3,000

May 28, 2007

Driver Tim Tetrick entered Monday night's (May 28) Harrington program three wins shy of 3,000 lifetime. It didn't take him long to reach the milestone.

The 25-year-old Tetrick won three of the first nine races and quickly reached the 3,000 win plateau after piloting Bill Emmons' Mattazuma ($3.00) to a 1:52.4 triumph in the ninth race. It was one of three Dylan Davis-trained horses he drove to victory. Tetrick also won the first race with Chipoffablueblock ($3.80) and the third race with Wizsell ($9.80).

He currently leads all drivers in North America with 472 wins this year. Harrington's leading driver, Tony Morgan, is second with 359.
