TVG Sets Wagering Record

Television Games Network handled a record $127,103,014 during the three months ended September 30 to set an all-time quarterly wagering record for the racing network and account wagering company.
The previous record was $119,762,675, set in the third quarter of 2005. This year's total represented a 6.1% increase over the same quarter last year.
TVG has set quarterly records in each of the first three segments of 2006. First quarter wagering of $71,555,173 was a 16.1% increase from 2005 and included a single day record of $7,555,958 on May 6, Kentucky Derby presented by Yum! Brands (G1) day.
Second-quarter wagering rose 3.8% to a record $118,504,496.95. Wagering for the first nine months of 2006 is $317,162,683.80, a 7.3% increase versus last year when TVG handled $295,496,834 between January 1 and September 30.
