Sears Caps Grand Slam with Suslow Win

Driver Brian Sears racked up his fourth win on the Meadowlands' Friday night card with Liberated Artist in the $22,500 second leg of the Robert J. Suslow Series. Liberated Artist stormed home to a length and a half victory over the pylon-skimming Kansas Wildcat in 1:53.2. Yankee Stardom kicked off cover in the stretch for third.

In addition to the eighth race, Sears also picked up wins with BJ's Chinook in the first, Close Encounter in the third and Ulrica Bromac in the seventh.

Liberated Artist notched his third win in 10 career starts for trainer Ray Remmen and owners Seth Rosenfeld and John Lichtenberger. The $70,000 Robert J. Suslow Final is next Friday.
