2, 5-2, VILLAGE JOLT, Ed Hart, Jeff Snyder and Arlene & Jules Siegel, "I was a little nervous," said Hart. "There's a difference between qualifying and racing. I'm pretty happy with his NJSS win [in 1:51.2]. He can race either way. If you fire him up, he'll go. He's a big boy - 60" hobble." NJ Classic next.
3, 4-1, STONEBRIDGE REGAL, Bob McIntosh, Robert Kaufman, Angie Stiller, Bob McIntosh, W Springtime Racing, "I trained him once lightly since he raced," McIntosh said. "The nicest part about him is he takes really good care of himself, just like his dad [Artsplace] did. We're aiming for the Provincial Cup elims at Windsor on Sunday."
9, 6-1, FOUR STARZ SISCO, Dave Sabatelli, Four Starzzzz Stb., "He came out of the Berry's Creek [which he won] better than he did after his elim," said Sabatelli. "I'll train him on Tuesday morning, and we're on our way to the Provincial Cup elims this Sunday."
7, 8-1, ALLAMERICAN INCA, Noel Daley, Adam Victor & Son , "We were very pleased with his qualifier," said Daley. "He's very good right now, and we're heading for the Hempt elims at Pocono Downs this Saturday."
4, 10-1, SYNCRO'S Z TAM, Patrick Lachance, MJGB Racing Stb and Pat Lachance, "He qualified well [2nd to Allamerican Inca in 1:53.1]," said Lachance. "He had pace." Hempt elims at Pocono next.
8, 12-1, TEAM HUTCH, Homer Hochstetler, Joy & Bonnie Hutchison, Back-to-back wins at Balmoral. "Last year, he was better coming off the pace," said Hochstetler. "Last Saturday, he wasn't in a position to race that way. The Cardinal elims are up next on Saturday."
NOT LISTED, 15-1, CAM'S FOOL, Brett Pelling, Jeff Snyder and Lothlorien Equest., Won in 1:50.2, last quarter in 26.1 on May 15. "With his breeding and what he's done already, we are planning on him being a contender," Pelling said. "By the time the Pace comes around, perhaps it'll be his time." NJ Classic next.
6, 15-1, SHANGHAI PHIL, Dustin Jones, Chemvest Holding, Hudson Stb., Dustin Jones Stb., "Everything is great with him," Jones said. "He'll qualify [May 17] at Mohawk [1:56.2], then he'll go right in the box for an overnight at Woodbine on Saturday. He'll have two starts and then the Burlington."
5, 20-1, RUNOVER FEELING, Kelly O'Donnell, Jack Tramonte and Ed Mullinax, "He sort of came to a walk, finishing 3rd in PASS at the Meadows," O'Donnell said. ""We scoped him, and he bled, so he'll go on Lasix. We'll skip a week, see what happens."
