Restive Hanover Sold

April 5, 2006

Breeders Crown winner Restive Hanover p, 3, 1:51.4, a winner of just under $1 million lifetime, has been sold to Mentally Stable of New Jersey. The purchase price was not released. The four-year-old daughter of The Panderosa-Razzle Hanover was formerly owned by Starmaker Farm who paid $230,000 for her at last year’s Tattersalls Mixed sale in July. Starmaker Farm had previously co-owned Restive Hanover in partnership with Anthony McEldowney of West Virginia.

A winner of the Breeders Crown at Woodbine as a two-year-old, the mare’s three-year-old season was delayed by a knee injury. To date in 2006 she has five wins and two seconds in nine starts for $145,000 earned. Among her wins was the Cape and Cutter Final at the Meadowlands. Formerly trained by Erv Miller, Ross Croghan will now take over Restive Hanover’s training duties.
