Rainbow Blue Retired

According to a report by Jack Ireland of The News Journal, trainer and co-owner George Teague Jr. said Friday 2004 Harness Racing Horse of the Year Rainbow Blue will be retired after she re-injured her leg in training earlier this week. Rainbow Blue, sidelined with a torn tendon in her left leg since last June, had been training well for a return to the racetrack until Teague noticed swelling in the leg on Thursday.
