Odds On Racing
scored three winning qualifiers at Balmoral on Wednesday morning, as well as a pair of runner-up spots snared by stablemates.

Ally's Raider was the first to capture his qualifier, pacing in 1:56.3, with a :38.2 final panel for driver Trace Tetrick.

Tetrick returned to steer Winbak Hotshot to a winning 1:56.4 effort, with Elkhorn Damien nailing down second in that same event in 1:57 for driver Ryan Anderson.

Tetrick was under the wire first again, this time with Broadway Jake in 1:57.1, while stablemate Cardmaster was close behind in second, pacing in 1:57.3 for Ryan Anderson.

Lloyd Arnold & Ed Allred's homebred pacing filly Captiva Island, a three-year-old daughter of Sanabelle Island (p,8, 1:50.4s $1,641,676) won her qualifying debut at Balmoral that same morning, pacing in 1:59.3 with driver Brent Holland at the lines.

Captiva Island is by pacing sire Western Hanover and left from post eight, gradually making her way forward and nabbing the lead at the three-quarters marker. From there she drew off to win by nine and a quarter lengths, utilizing a :27.1 final brush. She is the second of four foals out of Sanabelle Island, a daughter of In The Pocket. Erv Miller trains the sophomore filly.
