LaChance & Pierce Off To Italy

Drivers Mike Lachance and Ron Pierce are heading to Italy for eight days.

"I've been invited over there many times, and I thought now was the right time,” Lachance said. “We [Lachance and Ron Pierce] were originally going to race at three tracks, now it is two--in Venice and just outside of Venice. It's a drivers’ challenge type of competition, two drivers from Germany, two from Norway and two from Italy. It gives me a chance to get away for a while."

Pierce will be joining Lachance a day later.

"I'll leave Sunday and come back Thursday,” Pierce said. “This is the third time I'm going to Italy. Then I get back, I'll drive here next weekend, spend Christmas at home, and then we head to Costa Rica for a week and I’ll be back January 4. So I'll wind up missing one weekend here of racing."
