Titan Hanover was one of the Arden Homestead Stable standouts.
The Gerrys came into the harness racing business as a partner of noted owner E. Roland Harriman, their uncle and brother of the late New York Governor W. Averell Harriman.
The Gerry family assumed the Arden Homestead Stable interests after Harriman’s death in 1978. Both Gerrys are Hambletonian Society directors, while Elbridge Sr. and Elbridge Jr. are in harness racing’s Hall of Fame.
"Ebby" Jr. is president of the Board of Trustees of the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame in Goshen, New York, and Peter is treasurer. Peter is a member of the New Jersey Sire Stakes Board of Trustees. Both brothers are very involved in amateur driving, wearing the royal blue and orange silks of their stable.
 Peter Gerry Ebby Gerry, Jr.
Elbridge Jr. is a partner in the private bank Brown Bothers Harriman and Peter is a partner in the venture capital firm, Sycamore Ventures.
Notable horses who have raced under the stable’s banner are Florican, Star’s Pride, Matastar, Geranium, Me Maggie and Hambletonian winners Titan Hanover and Flirth.
