Panaramic Art Sports 17-Race Win Streak

January 19, 2008

Panaramic Art turned in another masterful performance as he rolled to his 17th straight victory on Friday night at the Meadowlands. Starting from the inside post, driver George Brennan sent Panaramic Art to the lead and he drew off to a three-length win in the fourth race, an $18,000 division of the Clyde Hirt Series for pacers four years old and under. Panaramic Art paced the mile in 1:52 and paid $2.10 to win.

The Iowa-bred gelding's winning streak began July 15, 2007 and took him through six different mid-west fair tracks before reaching the bright lights of Yonkers and the Meadowlands. The Squawk Box Stable of Monroe Township, NJ and Deborah Adwokat [Keep The Dream Going Inc.] of Scarsdale, NY purchased the gelding from owner-breeder Roger Roland for $60,000 on Oct. 5, 2007. Panaramic Art improved his record to 29 wins in 35 career starts.

"He has the Exit 16 W Series next," noted the pacer's trainer, Al Meyer. "We were thinking about shutting him down for a while, but he is racing so good we are looking into our options and thinking where he can make money. He might keep going four or five more races and hopefully still be good. It is tough to shut them down when they are going so well."

The Clyde Hirt Series concludes with a $83,700 final next Saturday, January 26
