Palone Wins 11 Monday

Dave Palone had 11 wins on the 14 race program on Monday at The Meadows, giving him a record for the most wins on one program at a pari-mutuel venue.

Palone's day established a new record for most 2:00 wins on a program by a single driver, a new track record at The Meadows, which Palone had held with 10 winners, and equaled the mark of Roger Hammer for most wins on one card, which Hammer established in 2003 at the York County, Pennsylvania Fair, which does not have wagering.

Palone, who has been leading driver at The Meadows for many years, has driven over 12,100 winners in his career, which has him third on the list all-time, and has earnings in excess of $62 million.
