KG Delight Two for Two in Overbid Series

KG Delight rocketed off cover in the stretch and stormed home to a 1:51.3 score in the $50,000 second round of the Overbid Series on Friday night at the Meadowlands.

Steered by David Miller, KG Delight notched her second straight win in the series with a half-length tally over Nannywithafanny. Street Dancer the favorite, brushed to the top in a 55.2 half and appeared to be drawing away from the field before KG Delight flew right by her.

One of three winners on the card for trainer Nikolas Drennan, KG Delight improved her earnings to $324,873. The five-year-old Northern Luck mare is owned by Paul Giammichele and Basil Michele of Ontario.

The $106,700 Overbid Final is next Friday, March 30.
