KG Delight Captures Overbid Pace

March 9, 2007

KG Delight pulled off an upset in the $50,000 Overbid Final Friday night at the Meadowlands in 1:51.4. David Miller was in the sulky behind the 16-1 longshot, who returned $35.20. Street Dancer (Brian Sears) finished a close second, with Miss Galvinator A (Yannick Gingras) third. Stonebridge Kisses (Daniel Dube) was fourth.

The five-year-old brown mare, a daughter of Northern Luck, railied late on the outside to nail down her first win of the year in six starts for trainer Nikolas Drennan and owners Paul Gianmichele and Basil Michele of Ontario.
