“I really didn’t know where I stood in regards to the number until I heard them announce it tonight so I never really had time to think about it,” grinned Oosting.

Currently sitting atop the Balmoral Park driver standings with more than 260 wins at the Crete oval this year, Oosting is enjoying another huge season on the Chicago circuit. Since making the move from his former home base in Fremont, Michigan to race on the Chicago ovals full time in 2002, Oosting has averaged almost 400 victories a year.
