Make It Brief was foaled on April 11, 2000 at Lucan, Ontario and was bred by the Robert McIntosh Stables of Lasalle, Ontario, Canada. He is owned by Odds On Breeding of Crete, Illinois.

This striking bay son of Camluck snared victories in the Nat Christie, a Simcoe event and a runner-up finish to 2003 Horse of the Year No Pan Intended in the Little Brown Jug. He took his lifetime mark of 1:49.1 in December of 2004 at age four, and was voted USTA Horse of the Month. That mile was the co-fastest December mile ever recorded in harness racing history.

Throughout his career Make It Brief defeated free for all standouts such as Life Source, Boulder Creek and Escape The Wind. Make It Brief was a star over all sized ovals throughout North America and is a standout son of a sire who owns an unprecedented three of the top six siring seasons of all time, Camluck.
