Odds On Racing Horse & Stable Updates
April 2007
Odds On BP paced to a 1:58.1 winning qualifer Friday morning at Balmoral. The five-year-old Life Sign gelding had Todd Warren in the bike, besting last year's champion two-year-old Home Bed Advantage (Ryan Anderson).
Odds On Upshot paced in 1:59.4 in his qualifer with Ryan Anderson at the lines. "Upshot" is by The Big Dog out of the Abercrombie mare Annie Up. Now three, this was just his second qualifying effort this year.
Overall in 2007, the Odds On Racing racehorses have earned over $356,000 since January 1, 2007. Trainer Robin Schadt has sent 168 horses postward who have amassed a 17-24-16 record. Some of her top horses include the stallion Make It Brief, who posted a 1:51.4 score in Balmoral’s $21,500 Free For All on February 27 and winners Odds On Beth (1:55,4 at Woodbine on March 26) and Easter Icon (1:58, Yonkers, March 21).
Trainer Nat Varty has also enjoyed success with Extender--racing at the Big M--thanks to owner Dana Parham's wise decision to purchase the pacer.
Odds On Racing has also seen its share of success with trotters this year, winning with Peaceful Victory in 1:59 at Balmoral on February 7; with Citra Jati N in 1:57 at Balmoral on February 20, and with Disbedone in 1:56.2—also at the Crete, Il., oval.
