Cabrini Hanover to race at Four
$1.5 Million winner Cabrini Hanover, who looks to nab the Canadian Three Year Old Filly Pacer of the Year title, will race at four, her connections announced today. The daughter of Western Ideal-Cathedra, who is owned by David Willmot and Bob Anderson of Ontario has been turned out Millennium Farms in New Jersey for nearly a month and is set to resume training under the watchful eye of Jimmy Takter.

Snazzy Trotter beats the boys
Six-year-old female trotter Snazzy Millie defeated her male counterparts in the second leg of the Glorys Comet Trotting Series at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto. It was the 16th win of her career and pushed her earnings to $434,679. Stiletto, who won one of the series’ first-round races, was second and Breeze Hill Will was third. The C$115,000 final is Sunday.

Deaton on Fire
Saturday night was memorable for Elliott Deaton, who won eight races at Northfield Park in Ohio. Deaton, 40, has already won 34 races this season, which is good for second place among all drivers in North America. He won 65 races last year and a total of 120 over the previous three years.

Grand Circuit comes to Hawthorne
The Grand Circuit will make 21 stops during its 2006 racing season and has added one new member according to the schedule announced by G.C. President Tom Thomson. Hawthorne Racecourse has been added to the Grand Circuit slate and will offer a stakes filled schedule from June 9-June 17.
