New Fractional Records at The Meadowlands

Devonshire Hanover set track and world records for the fastest half [51:2] and three-quarter mile [1:19] fractions in the fourth race on Friday night, July 14 at the Meadowlands. Driven by George Brennan and trained by Rich Banca, the five-year-old gelded son of Arturo won the event for $30,000 claimers in 1:49 for owner Richard T. Banca and Ralph Manfredonia.

Jenna’s Beach Boy holds the Meadowlands track record for the fastest mile time with a 1:47.3 clocking set on June 20, 1996.
