Morgan Nails Wins #10,000

Chicago driving kingpin Tony Morgan captured career victory number 10,000 Tuesday, February 14 at Dover Downs. The lanky, 47-year-old Buckeye native drove Iza Miraculous Guy to a 1:54.2 victory and then guided Ideal Party to a 1:54 win. Morgan's 10,000th win came with longshot Victory Starburst in 1:58.3. He then scored with Western Yee Ha in 1:54.1 and nailed his fifth win of the program with Alexa Hall in 1:54.
Morgan has over $66.3 million in career earnings, and has already piloted the winners of over $1.15 million to date in 2006. Only Herve Filion, Cat Manzi, Walter Case Jr., Dave Palone and Dave Magee have reached that plateau in harness racing history. Morgan is a multiple North American dash-winning champ has is a two-time HTA Driver of the Year. In 2005 he was runner-up in North America to the winning Cat Manzi.
