McErlean Leaving The Meadowlands

Chris McErlean, vice-president of racing operations at the Meadowlands is reportedly leaving the East Rutherford, New Jersey track. An article in the Asbury Park Press reports that McErlean is one of several administrative people taking a buyout from the New Jersey Sports & Exposition Authority. No official announcement has been made but further details are expected soon. McErlean who has been with the Meadowlands for 14 years is rumoured to be moving to Penn Gaming.
