Maywood Filly Pace Elims Thursday Night June 9, 2005 Brianna Joy captured the first of two $10,000 Filly Maywood Pace Stake eliminations Thursday night at Maywood Park. Piloted by Mike Oosting for trainer Seldon Ledford and owners James Jesk and Ledford Racing, the three-year-old daughter of Sportsmaster was clocked in 1:53.3. Second was Fox Valley Fussy (Tony Morgan), with Harmony Oaks Mag (Brent Holland) in third and Pandemonious (Andy Miller) in fourth. In the second division, Fox Valley Leonna scored in 1:53.2 with Dave Magee in the sulky. The three-year-old Richess Hanover filly picked up her first win of the year in three tries for trainer Tom Harmer and owners the Ciara Stable, Michale Polansky and Neil Silverman. Madge's Girl (Mike Oosting) was second, while Time For A Win (Tony Morgan) nailed third and Sensuous Woman (Ryan Anderson) nabbed fourth. The first four finishers from each division will return on June 16 for the $100,000 Final. |
