Manzi Scores Career Victory 11,000

Cat Manzi

Cat Manzi, third in the all-time victory list among North American harness drivers, posted career victory 11,000 with Classical Man in the seventh race on Thursday night, April 28, 2005 at the Meadowlands. Manzi, who trails only Herve Filion [15,103] and Walter Case [11,027 wins] on the all-time list, also currently leads all drivers by wins in 2005 with 283 victories. The 54-year-old Freehold, New Jersey resident, who has $103 million in career earnings, was inducted into harness racing's Hall of Fame in 2001.
