Trainer Kim Hamilton

Affable and cheery Kim Hamilton was born into a horse-friendly family in Muscatine, Iowa in November of 1957 and has been training Standardbreds since the late 1970s. The lively redhead has trained 181 winners to $571,963 in purse earnings, and saw her best year come in 1984 when her 326 starts garnered a 42-41-56 record and $84,704 in seasonal earnings.

Nowadays Kim concentrates her efforts on her training and maintaining her farm in Custer Park, Illinois where she routinely takes "turn-outs" from many of the Chicagoland horsemen who race and train at both Balmoral and Maywood Parks.
