Born in Lewiston, Maine in June of 1962 into a harness racing family, Kelly Case began a driving career in 1980 and that has continued well into the new century. She is also the sister of driver Walter Case, Jr. To date Kelly has piloted 746 winners to the tune of $873,393 and has trained 161 winners of $665,599 throughout her career.

Her best year as a driver came in 1985 when she steered 152 winners, 181 second-place finishers and 162 third-place finishers to $181,410 from 1,109 trips behind the starting gate.  That year she also conditioned 38 winners from 155 starts to a seasonal best earnings record of $177,956. Petite and quiet, Kelly's calmness on the track and behind her mounts has brought her high respect from many of her peers. She now competes mostly at Pompano Park in Florida.
