Glowing Report (George Brennan) won the first elim in 1:53.3, then returned to take the final (second heat) in 1:53. Pantidepressant (Daniel Dube) took the second elimination dash in 1:52.4.

"I got lucky enough to draw the rail and my filly was much better the second heat, after trainer Jerry (Silverman) made a bridle change," driver Brennan said. "She really dug in during those final yards, where it counted."
