Jag de Bellouet Takes The Prix de France

Jag de Bellouet captured the $240,000 Prix de France at 1 and 5/16 miles Sunday afternoon, winning the first leg of the European Grand Circuit Series at Vincennes in Paris, France. The nine-year-old stallion was driven by his trainer Christophe Gallier to victory in 1:55. This was the first time a trotter won the Prix d' Amerique and Prix de France in the same year since Moni Maker did it in 1999.

The next race for Jag de Bellouet will be the second leg in the Grand Circuit series, the Grand Criterium De Vitesse De La Cote D'azur at Cagnes sur Mer on March the 12th.
