New Internet Harness Talk Show
Max 16, 2006
Harness Tracks of America (www.harnesstracks.com ), the association of 43 major harness racing entities in the U.S. and Canada, introduces a new weekly Internet harness racing talk show this week, featuring interviews with newsmakers in racing and gaming, and commentary on racing and gaming, worldwide, by Harness Tracks of America Executive Vice President Stan Bergstein.
The show, called "The World in Harness," will appear each Wednesday on Harness Tracks of America's Web site, www.harnesstracks.com, and can be heard there. It will be produced in a state-of-the-art studio built in Harness Tracks of America's Tucson, Arizona office, and each edition will remain on the Harness Tracks of America Web site for one week, with updates and inserts as major newsbreaks occur.
Brock Milstein of Northfield Park, Harness Tracks of America's president, said in announcing the production that "it became apparent, listening to the panel of media greats assembled at the Horse Racing Congress in Las Vegas that the Internet is racing's future. We lost one generation to television half a century ago, and we don't propose losing another now.
"Stan's daily views of racing and gaming, distributed each morning to Harness Tracks of America directors in the Association's Executive Newsletter, deserve wider distribution, and the Internet provides a perfect platform to reach those in the sport and the general public."
