IHHA Elections To Be Held August 20

The Illinois Harness Horsemen's Association (IHHA) announced that its 2005 Board of Director Elections will take place at the Annual Meeting on August 20, 2005, at 12:00 noon at Balmoral Park Race Track located at 26435 S. Dixie Highway in Crete, Illinois. To be elected at the annual meeting will be five (5) directors to serve terms of three (3) years each.

The following candidates filed petitions to be placed on the ballot for election to the Board:
Alan Beals - Berwyn, IL; George Bonomo - Chicago, IL; Richard Herbert - Riverside, IL;
William Hunter - Edwards, IL; Jennifer Lappe - Beecher, IL; Walter Paisley - Stockton, IL;
Darcy Pletcher - South Chicago Heights, IL; Eric Plowman - Forest Park, IL; Carl Porcelli - Burr Ridge, IL; Duncan Price - Grant Park, IL; Robin Schadt - Crete, IL; Richard Schrock - Springfield, IL; Hosea Williams - Chicago, IL; Nelson Willis - Beecher, IL.

Ballots and Notice of the Annual Meeting will be mailed to all IHHA members in good standing on July 21, 2005 through the offices of Altschuler, Melvoin and Glasser, LLP., Certified Public Accountants, which have been retained as the official Election Supervisor in conjunction with Article III of the IHHA By-Laws.
