IHHA Election Coming Up

The annual meeting and election of directors of the Illinois Harness Horsemen's Association will be held Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Balmoral Park at noon. Balloting will be from noon to 12:30 pm, EST.

To be elected at the annual meeting will be five (5) directors to serve terms of three (3) years each. Directors currently on the Board who must seek re-election if they wish to remain on the Board are: Marty Engel, Bill Hunter, Sam Lilly, Ervin Miller, David Mc Caffrey.

To be placed on the ballot for the election, candidates must file a notice of intent to be a candidate for election with the signatures of a least twenty (20) members in good standing. The notice of intent (Nominating Petition), must be filed via registered mail or by delivery to the IHHA main office, (15 Spinning Wheel Road, Suite 432, Hinsdale, IL 60521), Saturday, June 10, 2006 through the close of business (5:00 pm), Friday, June 30, 2006.
