11 Candidates File for IHHA Board Seats

The Illinois Harness Horsemen's Association (IHHA) announced that its 2006 Board of Director Elections will take place at the Annual Meeting on August 19, 2006, at noon at Balmoral Park Racetrack located at 26435 S. Dixie Highway in Crete, Illinois.

To be elected at the annual meeting will be five (5) directors to serve terms of three (3) years each. The following candidates filed petitions to be placed on the ballot for election to the Board:

Robert Altepeter -Wasco, IL, Alan Beals - Berwyn, IL, Joe Besco, Yorkville, IL, Marty Engel - Buffalo Grove, IL, Terry Hunt - Big Rock, IL, William Hunter - Edwards, IL, David McCaffrey - Burr Ridge, IL, Ervin Miller - Sherman, IL, Duncan Price, Grant Park, IL, Robin Schadt, Crete, IL, Cynthia Willis - Beecher, IL.

Ballots and Notice of the Annual Meeting will be mailed to all IHHA members in good standing on July 20, 2006 through the offices of Altschuler, Melvoin and Glasser, LLP., Certified Public Accountants, which have been retained as the official Election Supervisor in conjunction with Article III of the IHHA By-Laws.
