He Wants It All Takes it all in Maywood Free For All
December 9, 2005
Michael Polansky’s He Wants It All took it all Friday night in Maywood Park’s $21,500 Free For All Handicap, the "Falcon Seelster." Trained by Tom Harner, the five-year-old bay horse picked up his 15th winner’s circle check in 26 starts this year with Dave Magee at the lines.
"We’re going to give him a little rest now," caretaker Debbie Harmer said. "He’s just so good right now and so sharp, and we’re pointing him for the Isle Of Capri once again in February at Pompano."
He Wants It all has well over half a million dollars in his career bank account to date, and has $288,295 in seasonal earnings for his connections.
"He’ll get a week or more off in the field, and then we’ll ship him down to Florida," Harmer noted.
He Wants It All had the outside post in the field of six, and Magee waited sat patiently with his charge as the leading Seeking The Gold N (Sam Widger) snapped off fractions of :27.3 and :56.4 before pulling first over. He Wants It All nabbed the lead shortly before the 1:26 three-quarter marker and cruised home easily with a modest :30 final brush to win in 1:56 on a chilly Chicago night.
He Wants It All finished one and three-quarter lengths ahead of the hard trying Hard Hitter (Andy Miller), with Anvilanunoit N (Jason Dillander) in third.
