Hanover Stakes Dominated by Seekman

The Joe Seekman Stable and driver Dale Hiteman swept both $25,000 Hanover stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies Tuesday night at Balmoral Park when Halle Go Lightly and Three Men Dreamin were convincing winners as the even-money public’s choices. In the first fourth race first division, Halle Go Lightly proved to be much with a 1:54.2 clocking.

Halle Go Lightly came home in :27.2 for her owners Suttons Bay Racing (Ada, MI) and James Jesk (Lemont, IL). Rylee N Ryan (Dave Magee), was second best to the Pro Bono Best winning filly, with Daybreak Gal (Tim Tetrick) finishing third.

In the seventh race second division, Hiteman posted a three-quarter of a length victory with Three Men Dreamin in 1:56.1 for Michigan owners L&L Devisser, Steel A Mile and Joe Seekman Racing. CC Stacy (Dave Magee) finished the fastest, pacing a :28 flat final quarter to take second. Brissonete Hanover (Pat Berry), held on for third, beaten three-plus lengths by the winner.
