Hambo & Jug Winner Stand Stud in 2007 Both Champions to Stand at Brittany Farms in Kentucky
December 28, 2006
The 2007 breeding book for Glidemaster has been closed, and the 2006 Hambletonian winner's fee is $12,000. Due to the large number of shares sold, there were not many outside bookings available. Brittany Farms, which stands the horse at Walnridge Farm of Pennsylvania, limited his book to 150 mares regardless of the number of applications they received.
2006 Little Brown Jug winner Mr Feelgood p,2,1:53; 3,1:50h ($687,649) will stand his first season at stud in 2007 at Brittany Farms in Kentucky. Mr Feelgood became one of harness racing’s newest World Champions with his straight-heats victory in the $541,000 Little Brown Jug, where he established both single-dash (1:50h) and two heat (1:50-1:50.3) world records. He is now the sport’s fastest three-year-old pacer of all time on a half-mile track.
