Field Sets for Hall of Fame Race

The field is set for the Mr. and Mrs. Elbridge Gerry Memorial Trot for Hall of Fame drivers on July 6 at Historic Track in Goshen, New York.
John Campbell, Jim Doherty, Clint Galbraith, Mike Lachance, Berndt Lindstedt, Bob McIntosh, Ron Pierce and Ray Remmen will compete in the event. After, the drivers will greet the public and sign autographs. The Hall of Fame group has combined to drive 13 Horses of the Year, 13 Hambletonian champs, 13 Little Brown Jug winners, and four Triple Crown winners.
Induction ceremonies for the Harness Racing Hall of Fame will be held the evening of July 6. Inductees include track designer Chuck Coon, owner Lou Guida, and Murray Janoff and Alan Prince to the Communicators Corner.
Amour Angus, Camluck and Malabar Man will be inducted to the Living Horse Hall of Fame and David Werblin, Rosemary and Silk Stockings will be enshrined to the Immortals section. The “Kentucky Connection” exhibit grand opening will be held at 5 p.m. followed by cocktails and dinner.
