March 3, 1989 – Cajun Brother wins the Peter Haughton Memorial at Yonkers Raceway.

March 5, 1993 – Shady Daisy wins the Overbid in 1:53.3 at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.

March 6, 2002 – H P Paque wins the Horse & Groom in 1:54.3 at the Meadowlands.

March 7, 1991 – Bright Spot wins the Exit 16W in 1:55 at the Meadowlands.

March 8, 1995 – Jack Moiseyev drives two horses that finish in dead heats for wins at the Meadowlands.

March 8, 2003 – Stephane Bouchard wins 10 straight drives, getting wins in his final two races at Freehold, and then winning eight straight races to open the card at Yonkers. The eight straight wins at Yonkers are a record for the most consecutive victories on a single raceway program.

March 9, 1990 – Sweet Sharon wins the second of her two straight Overbid finals in 1:53.3, lowering her own stakes record by four-fifths of a second, at the Meadowlands.

March 10, 1996 – Market Report wins the Cam Fella Series final at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto.

March 11, 1994 – Sara Loren Rd wins the Overbid Series final for pacing mares in 1:54.4 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.

March 12, 1982 – Cam Fella wins the New Faces Series final for 3-year-old pacers in 1:58 at the Meadowlands.

March 13, 1996 – Passionate Kisses wins the Jersey Girls final in 1:54.2 at the Meadowlands.

March 14, 1981 – Hall of Fame pacer On The Road Again is born.

March 15, 1987 – Tom Swift drives two horses that finish in dead heats for wins at Batavia Downs in upstate New York.

March 16, 1991 – Covert Action sets the world record for pacers 5 and older on a half-mile track by winning a leg of the Levy Series in 1:53.1 at Yonkers.

March 17, 1988 – Worldly Gentleman wins the Four Leaf Clover for 3- and 4-year-old pacers in 1:54.2 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.

March 17, 1989 – Direct Quote wins the Four Leaf Clover final for 3- and 4-year-old pacers in 1:53.2 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.

March 18, 1994 – Rocket Jockey wins the Motown final for 3- and 4-year-old pacers in 1:54.1 at Northville Downs in Michigan.

March 19, 1988 – First Offense wins the Cam Fella Series final for 3- and 4-year-old pacers at Greenwood Raceway in Toronto.

March 26, 1994 – Arrive At Five wins the Four Leaf Clover Series for pacers in 1:52.1 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.

March 30, 1990 – Mark Johnathan wins the New Faces final for 3-year-old male pacers in 1:56.1 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.
