June 3, 1978 – Dream Maker wins the inaugural Graduate Pace in 1:55.3 at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.
June 4, 1983 – Cam Fella wins the Graduate in 1:53.4 at the Meadowlands.
June 4, 1991 – Herve Filion reaches win No. 13,000 by driving That’s Dancing to victory at Yonkers Raceway in New York.
June 5, 1986 – Forrest Skipper wins the William R. Haughton Memorial Pace in a stakes record 1:51.3 at the Meadowlands.
June 6, 1953 – Hi-Lo's Forbes sets the world record for pacers on a half-mile track by finishing in 1:58.3 at Roosevelt Raceway in New York.

June 18, 1988 – Mack Lobell wins the Statue of Liberty Trot, at a distance of 1 1/8 miles, in a world record 2:09.4 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.
June 19, 1993 – Staying Together sets the pacing world record by winning in 1:48.2 at the Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey.
June 20, 1992 – Safely Kept wins the North America Cup in 1:53.1 at Greenwood Raceway in Toronto.
June 21, 1855 – Pocahontas beats Hero in a match race and lowers the world pacing record to 2:17½ at the Union Course on Long Island, New York.
June 22, 1965 – Immortal sire Adios dies at Meadow Lands Farm in Pennsylvania.
June 22, 1996 – Jenna’s Beach Boy sets the world record for 4-year-old pacers by winning the Driscoll Pace in 1:47.3 at the Meadowlands. Riyadh is second, and is the first pacer to finish in less than 1:48 in defeat.

June 26, 1941 – Saratoga Harness opens in Saratoga Springs, New York. A crowd of 4,048 sees Lucille Glow win the first race.
